The founder and principal of Pacific Hospitality Group, Inc. [Willam H.  McWethy Jr.] has been doing business in San Diego County for more than four decades.

Pacific Hospitality Group, Inc. established in  San Diego, California in 1986 has a notable track record of  successfully developing, managing hotel and resort properties in the western United States. In San Diego many are familiar with the very popular Hacienda Hotel, in Old Town, the 200 room property perched on the side of the hill overlooking the historic district.

In late 2013, PHG again successfully designed and developed its new restaurant concept. The Old Town Tequila Factory Restaurant & Cantina  which served as both Hacienda Hotel's food and beverage outlet  providing room service and hotel banquet and catering needs of the nearly 32 million visitors to San Diego and one of California's most popular tourist destination – Old Town San Diego.

PHG, Inc has been associated with world renowned hotels and golf resorts and  have assembled a team of golf experts with vast experience building and operating PGA rated golf courses, both public and private, in resort  destinations such as San Diego and Palm Springs.  Over the years PHG has work with legends of the game such as Arnold Palmer and Johnny Miller.

Pacific Hospitality Group has been involved in millions of dollars  in construction improvements locally and a PHG affiliate holds a  California General Contractor’s license. In association with Arnold  Palmer Course Design Company, PHG designed a world class championship  golf course in the Coachella Valley. Pacific Hospitality Group, Inc. has  a track record of working well with municipalities and municipal  agencies. In 2000, PHG constructed 28 hotel suites and other improvements on San Diego County park land and  through partnership with the County of San Diego that included a $5 million investment in renovations in the County owned Victorian  buildings in Heritage Park.
